***Ok guys so we are going to start this one even though the escape thread is not quite done yet and we are going to have them going simoltaniously and then Monday morning will start the school year for the whole board with the exception of our two canon threads which will keep going until they are done. If that made sense lol. If not, feel free to ask me or a mod.***
Harry looked down at his dress robes, remembering almost fondly the last time he had worn these, which had been the Yule Ball three years ago. They had been a bit big then so now they were nearly the perfect size, but Harry knew that in less than an hour they would be uncomfortably hot as the plan had been for Harry to swallow some polyjuice potion and the hair of a red headed muggle boy in the village (which had been summoned by Fred and George) and then trust the multiple red haired Weasleys to camoflage him as a relative.
He looked out Ron's bedroom window at the gathering of people below putting finishing touches on all the wedding decorations. With his seventeenth birthday having been yesterday, he was now free of the trace and the thrill of doing magic while not at Hogwarts had not quite worn off yet so he scooped up his wand used it to move the muggle clothing that he had been wearing before the dressrobes over to his open rucksack. Grinning at his success (though if after six years of magical education if he couldnt move something from one place to another and was planning on going on a very dangerous mission he would have some serious issues), he trotted downstairs to see if anyone needed any help before he donned his disguise.

Luna sat at home daydreaming out the window. A wedding was arranged for today and her father was going which meant she would go as well. She was alright with this because friends were going to be there. Ron, Hermione, and Harry. Ginny and the rest of the Weasleys. People she knew. She would be alright. She told herself once more. She took to the door of her bedroom and looked down at her father as she moved in to the living room down the stairs. "Father, are you ready to go. The wedding should start soon. I would like to arrive early to talk to friends." Her father nodded and stood up writing the last of his Quibbler article and looked at her with a smiled. He held out his hand for they were about to Apparate to the wedding. She took his arm and they zapped out of their household living room landing on the soft grassy plains of the out fields of The Burrow. Luna smiled and started to walk toward the house where the tents were still being put up. Who should she talk to first. She thought to herself.

The sun was slowly sinking lower, the sky becoming a gradient of reds and golds. The light was streaming through the open window of the bathroom, casting an orange glow upon Ron's already flaming hair. He could hear the distinct sounds of the rest of the smaller tents being put up from his position.
Ron looked at his reflection in the mirror, hastily flattening his suit. He had used one of Bill's old suits, as both his mother and Bill himself had insisted upon. It seemed strange, having a brother marry. He wasn't particularly sure Charlie would ever "settle down" -- his first love was his work and his dragons.
Fred and George were harder to peg on (for Ron was pointedly ignoring Percy, even mentally). The joke shop seemed to be their first priority, though they obviously weren't immune to the charm of girl. Ron vaguely remembered Fred taking Angelina Johnson to the Yule Ball some years ago. And then there was Ginny. Although he understood why Harry had told Ginny what he did after Dumbledore's funeral, he still felt like he was obligated to protect her. Though if Ron had a choice, he much rather liked his little sister with Harry than that sod Michael Corner.
He took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for the long drone of the vows and whatever bloody else they did. Ron opened the door and proceeded downstairs, grinning as he saw Harry downstairs and not anyone who'd immediately put him to work. "Some reception, eh? Bloody great lot of work, though," Ron commented, peering out the window to watch a variety of guests stream into the yard.

Luna came up the hill by herself because her father chose to observe the water that they had landed close to. She moved slowly up the lawn where she saw Ron and Harry talking to each other. With a serene voice she came up to them and started to talk. "Ron."She nodded to him. "Harry."She gestured her head to him as well. She put on her glasses and looked around then turned back to Ron. "RON! Are you nervous? Your head is SWIMMING with Nargoles." She said with awe in her usual calm voice.

Ron walked outside, the summer air a bit stuffy as he looked around. He shielded his eyes from the sun to look "With...what?" asked Ron, looking worriedly down at his suit, though his torso had very little to do with his head. He shook his head slightly, forcing himself not to continue on asking what exactly these "Nargle" things were. He had heard the term from Luna before. As mad as Luna was, he had to admit that her craziness was less startling than it had been when he first met her.
"Hullo, Luna," Ron settled for, giving her a small grin. "Not too bad a trip? Oi, there isn't an ancient old woman complaining about thing in there, is there?" he asked, taking a step so he was out of view from the tent just in case. Call him crazy, but he didn't particularly fancy his Auntie Muriel telling him he was too tall or too red-haired or some other insane thing of the sort.
((I figured I'd post again since Sami said she wouldn't be here until Monday. D8 Poor thing.))

Lord Voldemort arrived at the small house just a mile down the road from the Burrow and unlocked the door with a touch of his wand, stepping inside before anyone outside could see him. He was far enough away there should be no twinges for Potter to be prepared and he wanted his people in place and ready to go as soon as things progressed to the right point. Besides, Bellatrix had her hands full seeing to the death of the Minister who he had tortured for about the last hour, getting secrets out of him. To be honest, there wasn't much of the man's mind left even propelled along by magic.
Damned fool still hadn't said a word.
It was no matter, he had been dead from the outset and knew it. As the Minister he had to be the first to go in the event of a takeover, still in progress slowly. There were two small flashes of light from inside the house and the muggle neighbors were dead, left where they fell in the hall and kitchen. Standing in the living room he motioned and all the drapes fell, closing off the outside view and he appirated, slapped a hand on the head of the nearest DE at his headquarters and brought the man back with him.
[/size] " Bring them. I await. "
With a deep bow, the man appirated to begin ferrying the DE assigned to the Burrow raid to the temporary location as he turned in the direction of the Burrow without seeing it. As soon as the Ministry fall was complete the aurors assigned would come here and they would go rapidly against the happy party. Groups were arriving even now at other locations, ready to invade the likely homes of the Order, but Voldemort knew somehow that this was the one. Not that he would go in the daylight and show himself active, but he wanted to be near to feel when the spells came down around their ears....

Ginny Weasley was nervous. She had just finished dressing a few moments ago, her dressrobes were the color of red wine, her hair curled and pinned loosely to her head. She was currently gazing out the window, enjoying her last few moments of peace before the chaos of a Weasley wedding commenced. She exhaled, she should probably go downstairs and see if her mum needed any help. She noticed Ron and Harry as she came down the stairs. She smiled, "morning boys", she said softly. She tugged at her dressrobes to avoid tripping over them. Following Ron's gaze, she glanced out the window as well. "I bet Bill's a nervous wreck about now", she observed with a grin.
She turned to Harry, "Try to avoid Aunt Muriel if you can", she warned him. "Right scary old bat." She glanced around once more, and then decided to go see if she was needed in the kitchen, being around Harry when her brother was around had always been a bit awkward, and this morning a bit moreso than usual.

Luna smiled and settled her mind down. "Not that I can see right now, Ron but I will let you know." She said kindly. She turned to Ginny and nodded. "Most boys don't show emotion. Bill I suppose would. He might be. Perhaps we should check on him? Or is that illegal at your parties." She said acting like this wasn't a party she usually came to. Truthfully, it wasn't. She usually had her family gathered around her telling her to fall in love with a boy she didn't want to fall in love with.
She shut out her feelings ever since her mother died because showing emotion, to her father, showed weakness but she never told anyone that from the fear of more judgement. She calmed down her mind so the Nargoles would not enter like they used her causing her to go crazy. She smirked and turned. "Or perhaps his fiancee would appreciate our presence more?"

Harry grinned at Ron but didn't have any time to comment as they walked side by side into the yard and were accosted by Luna immediately. Harry smiled fondly at her, used to her odd statements by now. "Hi Luna, how was..." He trailed off. He was about to ask how her summer had been going but they had been joined by Ginny and she looked beautiful. More beautiful than usual that is. When he finally found his voice again, all he was able to get out was "Hi Ginny."
Then she was talking to Luna and they were deciding who would need their help the most right now so he turned back to Ron, struggling to remain neutral sounding as he was fairly certain Ron would have noticed his reaction to Ginny and would be acting all protective big brother again. "So...when do you reckon I should become Barney?"

By the time Ginny had gone downstairs to meet the others, Hermione was still staring at her reflection in the mirror. "Don't forget your shoes," the mirror chimed. Its words brought Hermione back to reality. She shook her head slightly and let out a long sigh. Hermione looked down at her vibrant red dress and started smoothing down invisible creases. "You look lovely." Thinking it was the mirror again, Hermione was about to snap at it angrily. However, when she looked up Mrs Weasley's reflection had joined her own.
The older red head placed her hand on Hermione's shoulder and said, "You do not have to do whatever you plan on doing. Please Hermione. The Order will take care of everything." Hermione sighed and looked up at Mrs Weasley with a said expression. "I am sorry," was all she said before moving away, towards her bed. Hermione sat down and reached for her heels, busying herself with them and hoping that Mrs Weasley would not try questioning her. After what seemed like hours, Mrs Weasley shuffled out of the room in defeat.
Hermione chanced a glance towards the door and when she was alone once again, she leaned back on the bed for several minutes. Hermione had one of those bad feelings. She knew that today was the day; and after that there would be no turning back. She had vowed to stick with Harry till the end and had no intention of changing her mind now, no matter how scared she felt. Hermione pushed herself into a sitting position and glanced around the room for what she thought would be the last time. Her gaze lingered on Pig and thanked him silently.
The seventeen year old stood up and checking herself one last time in the mirror. She passed a hand through her brown waves and grabbed her beaded bag. Hermione stared down at it for several seconds before stepping out of the room and joining the others downstairs. As her friends loomed into view she forced a smile onto her face. Having heard Harry's words she said from behind him, "In five minutes. The guests will start arriving in fifteen." She stationed herself in between Harry and Ron and asked absentmindedly, "How are you all?"

Harry must have jumped a foot in the air when it wasn't Ron who answered like he was expecting but a voice from behind him. "Blimey Hermione" he gasped, putting a hand to his heart and waiting until his heart beat had gone back to normal before answering her question. "I'm fine, though I can't wait for this wedding to be over..." He glanced Ron's way. "No offense. You know that I'm happy for Bill and Fleur and all but we need to get going." He rubbed his forehead absently. "He's getting stronger, I can feel it."
He gaze wandered over to where Mr. Weasley and the twins were putting the very last touches on the multiple tents that had been set up and saw Hagrid lumbering over. He had stayed in a nearby field having been invited to Harry's birthday dinner the night before but being too big to sleep in the house.
He stopped in front of the trio. "All righ' there, you three?"

He kept an eye on Harry's, noticing the way he suddenly became very attentive to Ginny's presence and the alarm bells in his head went off. Although, he reminded himself, Harry is a much better match than that bleedin' Dean Thomas. It was still his sister, nonetheless. The sister who Ron had grown up with his entire life. However, Ginny turned to Luna and Harry turned a conversation to Ron.
A sudden voice stopped him before he could answer. Ron jumped a little too, as he had been concentrated on the wedding. Harry, however, did seem a bit more jump than usual. He had room to be more jumpy, what with everything that was about to happen. He turned around to comment on Hermione being so quiet -- or rather, Ron perhaps a bit inattentive -- and froze, seeing Hermione for the first time since her getting ready.
The natural light seemed to hitting her head from a certain angle, illuminating it from behind and highlighting it. The curve of her cheek and everything about her seemed so perfect. Had she always been this perfect? Of course, it seemed silly for something to happen overnight. It seemed very reminiscent of the Yule Ball so many years ago. "Hi," he said dumbly, his mouth rather dry. The arrival of Hagrid made Ron visibly jolt -- surely he hadn't been staring? -- and he gave a mumbled greeting to Hagrid.

Harry and Ron's reaction to her sudden appearance startled her. She looked at the two boys sheepishly and said, "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." She sighed as she listened to Harry and gave a small nod. "As much as I hate to say it Harry is right," she said softly. Hermione unconsciously tightened her grip on the bag and glanced around them. She caught sight of Ron staring at her and turned a bright red. Hermione covered her mouth with her free hand and asked worriedly, "Do I have something in between my teeth?" She turned away from the group and passed her tongue over her teeth. Hermion jumped at the sound of Hagrid's booming voice. She turned to face him with a smile. Her eyes widened and she cleared her throat. "You... look nice Hagrid," she said with an uncertain beam.

Bellatrix was with the Minister, taunting and torturing him. Around her lay a carnage of bodies belonging to the Minister's wife, children and mistress. Bella utterly enjoyed herself murdering his dear ones in front of him. Oh how he had cried and pleaded for mercy. The more he begged her to stop, the more violent her attacks became. Now all that was left was killing him. However, before doing that she wanted to torture him further.

Harry caught the way that Ron looked at Hermione and quickly turned to strike up conversation with a passing waiter to avoid the awkward moment, having already nodded and smiled at Hagrid who was now beaming back at Hermione after her compliment.
"Why thank yeh 'ermione, you look lovely yerself" he said fondly, adjusting his hairy brown suit. "Would you lot like to have tea with me on the first day back at 'ogwarts? I reckon it will be nice to have a relaxing moment."
Harry avoided eye contact with all of them, hastily blurting out, "oh look at the time, I've got to take the polyjuice potion now! Ron, Hermione, maybe you would like to help me." He began trying to herd them away. _____________________________________________________
Rufus Scrimgeour lay in a heap on the floor sobbing. He didn't know how much more of this he could take. He had known something was wrong when he had called to his assistant through the little microphone to ask her for a run down of his afternoon assignments and no one had answered. He had tried to get out the window but it was too late. And now he just wanted to die. What else could she want from him?

"No, y-you look...." Ron's voice trailed off under Hagrid's booming voice, although Ron hadn't really been sure what he was trying to say anyway. He busied himself with looking down at the short grass on the ground, his dark shoes already dull and scuffed -- for they had once been Charlie's. He shifted his feet around uneasily, trying to keep himself from saying anything dumb. What the bloody hell had that book said? He had given it as a present to Harry just the night before and now all he could remember was that it was made of paper.
At Hagrid's mention of tea, Ron was shot out of his stupor, raising his head to look at Harry. He was with the fact that Hagrid should probably be told, but none of them wanted Hagrid in that miserable state he sometimes got in. Particularly when Harry, Hermione, and Ron were leaving very, very soon. After all, he would eventually know once he figured out the trio weren't at Hogwarts and that they certainly wouldn't be showing up at his door for tea.
Ron looked at Harry for help when he said something about the Polyjuice Potion. He glanced at Hermione, knowing she probably caught the hint as well (it was Hermione after all) and quickly followed Harry into the house. "See you at the wedding, Hagrid!" Ron told Hagrid as they walked away, trying to ease a prickling feeling of guilt.
