Hermione still had not gotten over the fact that she might have something in her teeth. Therefore when Hagrid complimented her she tried not to smile and thanked him without opening her mouth more than necessarily. She felt her heart sink at Hagrid's words. She felt that none of them could neither accept nor deny his offer. They all knew how Hagrid reacted to sad news, and today was not appropriate for explanations and comforting. Before long, Harry was pulling her by the hand. She gave an absentminded nod and glanced in Ron's direction; at the same time that he looked at her. "Yes... Polyjuice potion..." she mumbled. Hermione waved at Hagrid and said cheerily, "See you later."

Bellatrix started circling Scrimgeour like a vulture before finally crouching down in front of him. She prodded him with her wand and said in disgust, "Pathetic. And you were supposed to be the milestone for wizards and witches?" Bella started shaking her head in disbelief. "Do you want me to kill you?" she purred softly. Bellatrix wanted him to beg for death, and she wouldn't give it to him immediately.

Hagrid looked thoroughly confused by their hasty exit but didn't linger over it too long and simply waved cheerfully at their retreating backs.
Once in the house Harry fished in his robes for the vial that contained the needed hair, then dropped it into a small cup of the mud-like substance he had become quite familiar with over the years. It bubbled for a moment as was custom and then turned a sort of orangey-red. Harry made a face and reluctantly downed it, morphing into "Barney Weasley" in an instant. ____________________________________________________
"Yes, please" Rufus begged. Although he didn't particularly want to die, if he was dead that meant that Potter was still safe and there was a better chance for the rest of the wizarding world to survive. If he was alive, there was a chance he might crack and give up the boy's whereabouts.

Ron visibly grimaced as he watched "Barny Weasley" morph from Harry Potter. It looked incredibly painful and was a bit sickening to watch. Barny was a bit taller than Harry, although not nearly as lanky as Ron. "Not bad," Ron admitted. "You could definitely pass as my cousin. I mean, there's a bunch of us, so it's not really that hard..." he added.
If there was a pureblood wizard with red hair, it was usually a Weasley. It would be even easier to pass as a Weasley at the wedding, with so many people there.

Hermione unconsciously shuddered when Harry produced the vial of the potion. Having experienced the effects of the potion herself, like both Harry and Ron, she knew how uncomfortable and painful it was. Hermione shuffled her feet and started rubbing the side of her arm as Harry shot upwards; his hair become red; and his face swelled grotesquely before settling into Barney's features. "You look good," she offered softly. Hermione shifted her gaze from Harry to Ron and back before adding, "Ron is right. You can totally pull this off."

Bella started cackling wildly and rubbed her hands together. She looked at Rufus with a smirk and said mockingly, "I won't. Not yet." Bellatrix pulled out her dagger and started trailing it lightly over the Minister's body. "Hmm should I make this painful? Or use the Killing curse?"she asked loudly to herself. Bella pressed the dagger a bit harder against his throat and added in a whisper, "What a dilemma."

Harry tucked his glasses and wand into the inner pocket of his robes and nodded at Ron and Hermione. "Good." He had barely gotten used to his knew body when Charlie was appearing beside them, still looking a bit rueful about his haircut, and announcing that the guests were arriving. Harry looked once more at first his reflection and then his best friends before following Charlie towards where they would be meeting the apparating guests with seating charts. _______________________________________________________
The minister continued sobbing, his panic and fear increasing. All he could manage to say over and over again was "please".
OOC: Do we wanna put this part on hold since the wedding will take a bit or do we want it to continue the whole time? either is fine with me xD

Uh. We can probably either go through it or just have someone skip around the wedding bits. The wedding part, and then the ceremony. Not really much happened in the book except Hagrid cried buckets of tears and it was freaking hot. xD /abridged version as told by ron/
If you lot want, I can just go ahead and skip to the reception if you want me to post. You guys are free to post that if I'm not around and such. : ) ))

Ron sighed for what seemed the twelfth time, trying not to yawn for the fifth. It was great and all that his brother was getting married -- particularly to a half Veela -- but the actual process of the marriage was long and seemed unnecessary. Thankfully, he knew that it would be over soon and everyone would be happy and in matrimony and whatever else that bloody priest was saying. From here, he could hear Hagrid loudly blowing his nose as the wedding continued.
The wedding ended with a huge audience of clapping and cheering as Bill and Fleur kissed, Ron waking up from his half-asleep stupor to join in. He looked around for a moment, wondering how many people had seen him nearly asleep. The night was considerably darker now, the wedding having taken place during sunset. The chairs disappeared as everyone stood up and happy music filled the air, glass goblets filling up with drinks.
He couldn't spot Harry amongst the variation of red hair and other colours, although he did spot a familiar face on the other side of the tent. Hermione was just standing there, not doing anything special but somehow managing to look amazing. A crazy idea hit him in the head.
He should ask her to dance.
No, no he shouldn't. That'd be mental. They were friends. Known each other since their first year of Hogwarts. Although...That could be even more reason for them to dance and she just looked so....Should he ask her? Ron stalked off for a moment, his internal battle wrestling around in his head.
Okay. Okay. He just had to grit his teeth and do it. No big deal. Just a few words. He confidently walked over to Hermione, ignoring the familiar face he saw -- that better not have been Krum -- and gave Hermione a sheepish smile. "Wanna dance?" he asked, holding out his hand and speaking over the upbeat tune.

Harry was having trouble sitting still. The wedding seemed to go on forever and he was uncomfortable in this Weasley disguise, not to mention that he had only taken enough dossage to last two hours. How odd would it be for the other wedding guests for him to suddenly morph back into himself in the middle of the vows?
Suddenly, it was all over and room was being cleared for a dance floor. Harry, not really in the mood to dance, tried to find Ron and Hermione. Maybe they could discuss their plans to get out of there early the next morning without waking anyone. However, just as he located them across the floor, he noticed that Ron was asking Hermione something and holding out his hand. He was asking her to dance Harry realized, with an odd sort of lonely feeling.
He wandered off, nearly walking into a table when he caught a glimpse of Ginny talking to Luna. She was just so beautiful. He almost switched his directional track to go up and ask her to dance, but the thought of Ron's expression if he did that forced him to keep walking until he found an empty table and sat down.OOC: and then he has that really long conversation with dodge and muriel that I am not going to type out because I would give myself carpal tunnel - if someone wants to be dodge and muriel I will have the conversation with them but otherwise just pretend it happened

The ceremony was beautiful, almost fairytale like. All around Hermione, relatives of the bride and groom were crying. She had tears in her own eyes, however, not all of them were out of happiness. She clutched her beaded bag tighter and shifted her gaze to all those she knew. Mr and Mrs Weasley who had done so much for both her and Harry; they had accepted them in their family and had always treated them with love and care. That made her think of her own parents, who she might never see again. Although she was not always amused with Fred and George, they were like brothers to her. Ginny was her best female friend; the only one who knew about her crush on Ron.
Ron... there were no real words to explain him. Their relationship had started on a really bad foot. But things changed and he became a center point in her life. And then there was Harry. Hermione would follow him to the edge of the world and back. Although he was reckless and often did not think before acting, his heart was pure and noble. Her eyes fell on Hagrid, who was crying his heart out. Hermione let out a small laugh and wiped away the tears from her own eyes. Hermione turned her attention back to the ceremony. Bill and Fleur looked so happy together, gazing into each others' eye lovingly. She wondered if she would ever get her Cinderella moment.
The crowd around her soon erupted in claps and Hermione realised the ceremony was over. Mrs Weasley ushered Hermione away from her two male friends and started introducing her to the Weasleys. She was soon approached by Viktor and they started chatting quietly. Hermione was not really paying attention to what he was saying, she was instead searching through the mass of red hair for Ron's familiar face. She soon spotted him walking in their direction and Hermione offered him a smile. When he asked her to dance, her eyes widened and she looked at him in shock. Her eyes flickered in Viktor's direction before giving a nod and taking Ron's hand. Hermione shrugged apologetically at Viktor and followed Ron to the dance floor.
His please sent shivers down her spine. Bellatrix started jumped on the spot excitedly. With her dagger, she tore off what was left of his clothes. Bella smirked down at him and pressed her razor sharp talons across his chest. She stared down long and hard at the four trails of blood that started forming under her fingers. Bella laughed softly to herself and then cast the cruciatus curse.

It felt like ages passed between them until it seemed Hermione had finally agreed to dance with him. As he stood in front of her on the dance floor, he swallowed nervously. Now the dilemma of where he should place his hands suddenly filtered through his mind. "At her waist, you idiot," he thought. He didn't know why he was so nervous - after all it had just been a friendly offer to dance, not a proposal of marriage. "Marriage? What did that have to do with anything?" he thought again as he placed one arm at her waist and offered his other for her hand.
"So ...." he muttered quietly and started to sway with the music. "You look nice..." Ron could feel a slight blush creep up his neck, and he hoped that Hermione wouldn't notice, but he highly doubted it. When he blushed, his entire face matched the color of his red hair so anyone would be able to tell. "Can you believe Bill is actually getting married? Didn't think he would ever settle down with anyone...didn't seem the marrying type to me..." Ron felt as if he was rambling on, but he honestly didn't know what else to say. He was dancing with his best friend, whom he was slowly starting to realize that he considered her to be more than a friend. He wondered how she felt about him, and wanted to ask, but of course kept the question inside of himself. Now wasn't the time. He should be focused on Harry, and what they had planned to do after the wedding. That was the most important thing - not wondering about other things that were not so important.

The minister screamed and cried and passed out several times, only to be reawoken by the new pain this horrible curse caused. "Just kill me" he shouted a final time. _____________________________________________________
Harry sat there with a blank expression. Muriel and Dodge had just torn his world down all around him without even realizing it by saying all that they had about Dumbledore's past. He didn't get much of a chance to think and agonize over it much longer as he had caught site of two things in rapid succession. The first was Ron and Hermione dancing...with eachother - his stomach gave another odd lurch of lonliness - and the second was a small glowing ball that was approaching the festive tents at high speed. Aas it got closer, its shape shifted into that of a lynx and spoke with Kingsley's slow, deep, reassuring voice, though the words he spoke were not reassuring in the slightest.
Scrimgeor is dead. The Ministry has fallen. They are coming.
There was a second of silence and then someone, a woman though Harry couldn't be sure who, screamed which caused a riple of panic to break out. People were running and dissapearating all over the place. Harry's face paled and his heart threatened to break his ribs with how fast it was beating. He leapt to his feet, searching the crowds for Ron and Hermione. They had to get out of there. The death eaters were coming.

Hermione followed Ron in silence and stopped when he did. To her discomfort, they were right in the middle of the dance floor and she could feel several eyes boring into her. Hermione gulped and stared down at her feet, hoping Ron would make a move and fast. Just when she was about to suggest moving to the side, he reached for her waist and gently placed his hand on the red fabric of her dress. Hermione felt her heart skip a beat. She smiled at Ron and took his other hand. Hermione wondered if she should move closer to retain the distance in between her bodies. As she longed for the former, a blush highlighted her cheekbones.
His compliment came as a surprise to Hermione. She tilted her head slightly to one side and replied, "Thank you Ron." Hermione laughed softly and teased [with reference to what he had said when he had invited her to the Yule Ball] , "From that comment I gather that I still look like a girl then." She fell silent and only nodded at his comments about Bill. Hermione pursed her lips slightly and allowed her eyes to linger on Ron's own lips. She hastily looked away and cleared her throat before saying, "You look nice as well." Hermione felt like she was stumbling for words. Ron was her best friend, so why was she finding i difficult to string a proper sentence together?
All of a sudden she heard Kingsley voice boom within the tent. Without loosening her hold on Ron, she partially turned around just in time to see the Lynx dissolve. Seconds later they were surrounded by swifts of black smoke followed by the appearance of Death Eaters. Hermione clutched Ron's hand tighter and turned to face him wildly. "We need to find Harry," she said. Hermione soon spotted Harry. She pointed him out to Ron before breaking into a run in his direction. Hermione saw Bellatrix Lestrange apparate a couple of feet away from Harry and gasped loudly. When the three were together she grabbed their hands and without thinking disapparated.

As the Death Eaters and their Ministry counter parts arrived, the small place became crowded, but since those there were imperioused if they had not been converted, there were no notice taken of the bodies. For several minutes they arranged their plans and prepared for the final assault. It wasn't long till Voldemort got the word and smiled. Turning to his servants he said
[/size] " It is time. Get your positions and await the signal. " Immediately people began casting disillusionment charms on each other and heading out in groups.
In about fifteen minutes the Burrow's grounds were surrounded by groups ready to spring into action and they had barely gotten into place when the wedding reception suddenly went crazy-nuts and people began screaming and fleeing. That was the signal. The thirty members of the attack group raised their wands and cast to bring down the protective spells from all sides at once moment while down the road Voldemort raised his own for the keystone of the mass attack, knocking all the Order and Ministry's spells aside in a second. The combined forces of the DE and the Ministry rushed the tents and the Burrow with wands firing stunning spells and battle commenced.
Satisfied his servants could handle the rest, Voldemort strained with his senses and could feel the boy was there, he had been hiding at the wedding as suspected. Standing at the window he rose into the sky (his own form masked as well) and floated up watching and waiting for a clear opening to strike...

Harry could feel that the last of the polyjuice potion was about to wear off of him but he had bigger concerns at the moment. He saw Ron and Hermione running towards him, saw their panic striken faces and then saw three death eaters shooting spells at Ginny. His heart went out to her and he began to run towards her to help but Lupin took out two of the death eaters with a blasting spell to the back and then caught Harry in his arms and, none too gently, shoved him backwards towards where Ron and Hermione had appeared through the crowds. "Harry, GO" Lupin shouted forcefully (which probably wasn't the best idea as he had shouted Harry's name quite loudly but luckily no one else seemed to notice).
With one last look at Ginny, Harry flung out his wand free hand to grasp Hermione's and felt the crushing darkness take hold of him just as a flash of red light scorched the air where he would have been three tenths of a second earlier.
