Personality/Looks:
Her hair is deep brown with natural darker highlights and with quite a bit of volume to it. Falling slightly past her shoulders most of the times she wears it down and natural as she is to lazy to ever do anything else with her hair and prefers it to be down and free. Odette's eyes are by far without a question her most prominent feature. Deep brown eyes that are as deep as the ocean. People find it hard most of the times to take their gaze from them. For a girls she is slightly above the average height standing at 5'6 it is not to much of a noticeable fact. At about 125 pounds Odette does not look like a stick but she does have some curves to her making it obvious that she is quite female. For the most part her weight and height are considered average for a female.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sarcasm is something that always seems to leek from her sharp red lips, a natural reflects you could say. When attending parties Odette has no trouble socializing and often finds it to be entertaining, most of that is all casual for her. Truly deep friendship is not something she gives away. Most of her 'friend' circle really consists of people she has hung out with at parties and has socialized with but does not share any sort of deep connection with. Alcohol is something that does not graze her lips for the simple reason that she knows it tends to make you say things and never will Odette say more then she needs. Though she is a bit scared of being silenced because of her very opinionated journalism voice. Though for now she's at the bottom of the pyramid and working her way up.
Her mother and farther both have high expectations for her due to this fact it has led Odette to be very uptight at times. They are quite wealthy and Odette's style very much reflects the part of her that adores the past. Her fashion sense seems to gear toward forties pin up girl which gives her a very defined and unique look. Even if she does disrespect her parents often, she still believes in a core value they have of holding herself with class, at times the fact that she holds herself high can come off with a air of arrogance. If you really talk to Odette though charm seems quite natural, her sarcasm seems to be enticing.
When talking about guys Odette will not deny the fact she has never thought of any of them as anything serious. They flirt with her, she flirts with them. Its a game to her and how Odette loves to play games. Why does she need to get into anything serious She's not exactly comfortable being labeled as any-ones 'girlfriend'. The word 'love' is something she has the littlest definition of. Trusting guys is not something she will do in a long time. For now Odette just likes to keep it casual as she focuses on diving into her career as a journalist.
Parents: Madeline Moreau(46), home lady. Jeremy Beauregard(48), Death Eater&Ministry Worker
Siblings: Odila Beauregard(18), Death Eater&Ministry Worker
History:
As a child she had a very formal childhood. Most of the time her parents never really gave her time to be a kid and so she grew up pretty fast. Knowing she was born into a fairly wealthy family Odette was taught to be everything any perfectly rich and pompous man could ever want. Growing up, Odette realized there was more to the world then that and so her more rebellious side kicked in. At functions with other families Odette can act like the perfect daughter unless someone mentions something that she feels strongly about. Such as how muggles are so much lower then them, when it is brought up Odette will often grow defensive due to the fact that she believes if this world will get anywhere people need to accept each other.
Odette did the same as her parents when it came to her studies and excelled greatly. Though her talents always seemed to be more within the creative side of things. Writing she found to be her strongest points in school. Both parents want her to go into any sort of career that will make her wealthy. Well her moms more of a fan of her daughter marrying a well paying man and just using his money much like her. Often trying to entice young gentlemen visitors with her daughter. Her parents is all Odette has ever known of a 'loving relationship', they both married each other for more social reasons and if that is what love is well Odette wants nothing to do with it.
Eventually her parents had another daughter named Odila who seems to be Odette's opposite. Perhaps what seems to be hint at this fact is that Odila is the name of the dark and sinister swan in the ballet Swan Lake. Her sister ultimately grew to be the favorite child even threw their younger years. As her parents tried to drill the ideas of purity into Odettes brain, she seemed to be far to busy thinking about what she could write next. Her parents both live in France but are both still huge supports of Lord Voldemort and well as soon as the Death Eaters began to show their faces again, her family jumped on that band wagon. Odette never fully understood what potential they saw in such a greedy man and she refuses to support him ever.
Now her years at school were pretty hard. Mostly focusing on her studies Odette found things calm that was until her younger sister Odila came into the picture. The one bully that Odette had to worry about was in fact her own little sister. Her sister came to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and was sorted into Sournois House. After all even from a young age her sister seemed to fit into that house. She had always been big into pure bloodlines. Quickly her sister sore threw the popularity pyramid so to speak with all the other students. Though she was known to be two faced, manipulative and cruel. People found her dark haired, tan skinned and dark eyed sister to be the most attractive out of the two. When Odette was in school, she wore more frumpy clothing and had large glasses. After about a year of school with her sister, she was nicknamed 'the ugly duckling'. Even so, Odette beat her sister out in just about every contest at their school. Even in Quidditch Odette might not have been the best but she was still better then her sister.
Often her sister would grow jealous and do things to her sister. Pulling cruel pranks on Odette as to make sure that she would never climb to high in the social ladder. Even at one point paying a boy from Odette's grade to pretend to like her. Naturally she made sure it was the most attractive and charming guy. At first Odette had not trusted him, one night he had asked her to come out on a late night flight with him. She was not rude and took him up on his offer, things seemed to go smooth and even the guy found himself falling for the creative young french girl. It was quickly ruined when her sister as they were landing on the grounds revealed to her what was going on. Odette became furious and vowed to never trust her sister or even any guy for as long as she lived. The boy naturally never got to explain himself after all Odette didn't dare to give him the chance.
When she got out of school Odette changed a few things about herself. Changing her hair style and even wardrobe. Those who attended school with her hardly seem to recognize the french girl they had once known. After schooling when she was eighteen her mother revealed something to her. Odette's family had found her 'suitable' match as they liked to put it. He was from a Pureblood line though they were from England. Odette had knowledge of Hogwarts due to the Triwizard Tournament that her school had attended. It was a rather curious place to her. Refusing to marry whom ever he was, Odette's parents grew angry with her and made her a promise. They would give her five years before they would take certain measures. Though during that five year time gap she must move to England. Odette was more then happy to be out on her own and soon found herself at the age of nineteen learning English. At this time she also started working at The Daily Prophet, first under Rita Skeeter who she absolutely despises. Now though, Odette is on her own. Mind you shes just writing small columns but you have to start small to grow.

Elaine realized it was very true, they had always made a good team no matter what. It seemed to be one of the very true facts about them after all Elaine and Conner practically read each others minds. The future had seemed so far away, even last year Elaine felt as though it had hardly been a factor and now it seemed to be the one thing that loomed over everyones minds. It was something that none of them had taken seriously until now. Being a journalist was Elaines goal and she would sacrificed anything for it usually. Though when it came to Conner and her, to be honestly she would give it up for their friendship without a doubt. That scared Elaine to death. Never had someone meant that much to her.
One thing though that made her the most excited was getting to be out on her own. Yea it was a scary thought but she was ready to get away from her parents. From their petty social parties where all that mattered was who had the higher social status. They never really liked the people Elaine hung out with unless they had money and well they were of the right blood. Elijah was young enough to not care and that was why she loved him so much. Honestly, Elaine thought about moving out of her parents house and taking her brother with her. Her mother was never really a mother to him and well she had never been much of one to Elaine. Not that it mattered much now, all that she wanted to do was to give her brother the life that she knew he deserved.
When he mentioned the library she nodded "I'm not the biggest fan either but if we expect to focus anywhere that is probably our best bet" Elaine said smirking. After all if either of them expected to focus around each other that was about the only place they could. If the two of them went outside and attempted to it would probably be one of those lost causes, they both would get distracted quite sufficiently. It was easy for them to get distracted around each other, even when he was suppose to be cleaning it seemed as though things had taken a turn in a completely different direction. Honestly even if she had meant it in a sarcastic way Elaine really had learned alot from Conner. For that she would be eternally grateful, he had become the one person she really let in. With him her walls would come down. Somehow though she could not help it, something about him made it so easy for her to do.
As Conner explained himself Elaine smiled, "its alright Conner" her voice was soft "I could never be mad at you". It was very true, Elaine had a hard time being mad at him at any point really. Plus him not being at the ball wasn't that bad after all he had just skipped a dance, it was not as if he had skipped some huge thing that she had begged him to come to. He was always there for her when she truly needed him and for that Elaine knew he could skip all the dances that he wanted. When he touched her hair and brushed it away, Elaine felt a jolt go threw her body. Not that it as bad, it was more good then anything. Something about the way he touched her now was so different, the way they stood there with each other was not like any other time. When he moved away, it was not like the other times. This time it had felt like there was more to it.
He went to cleaning what was already clean. Maybe that was another clue, the fact that he would do anything to avoid looking at her. When he looked into her eyes, Elaine felt so uncertain about what he was even going to say. He said nothing and as Elaine looked into his crystal eyes, Elaine could not bare to say anything. In a way she wanted to say something, anything just to ease what was going on but Elaine felt no words come to her soft lips. He had left her speechless, usually she always had something to say to him and now they both just looked at each other. Her heart beat picked up as she stood there with her hand on his cheek, for her time seemed to slow down. Elaine could feel herself taking in deep breaths, even now she felt like she had to remind herself to breath. He looked like he wanted to move away, though another part of him stood there. More of him wanted to stay there. Elaine was glad, she feared that if he left...she would not know what to do.
His eyes were locked onto hers and maybe what happened next, was what Elaine was expecting. Elaine knew though that deep inside of her, it was exactly what she wanted to happen. Actions always spoke louder then words. The world had felt like it was spinning a short period ago and now it felt as though all time had stopped. He breathing become steady and she could feel Conners face move closer to hers. He moved slow but the way he moved was obviously controlled, her eyes could not bare to leave his. She was afraid that if she dared to leave his gaze then this moment would fade away and everything would crumble around them. Elaine could not bare to think that would ever happen and Elaine would trade every bad memory she had to be replaced with this one. It was probably the one thing that would stick with her for weeks.
His hand was on her waist and he pulled her in, Elaine did not resist at all. Whatever space that had been between them before in one swift movement was gone and all that remained was the two of them. When he swallowed, Elaine felt a small smile come to her lips. He was nervous it was obvious to her though so was she after all Elaine had never felt this way before. It had always come to easy to her with anyone else and with Conner, it all seemed so brand new. Then his eyes shut, their lips brushed and Elaine felt what could only be described as a jolt threw her whole body. Within a few moments, her blue eyes fluttered closed getting herself lost in the moment. His hand ran threw her hair and lightly, Elaine brought her arms up to his shoulders. Keeping herself balanced, even after his lips had simply brushed against her Elaine could feel her knees wobbling.
It had never been like this for her, never had a kiss of even a touch made her feel so much like this. When their lips finally did lock together, Elaine's eyes opened wide. She was a bit surprised but it was obvious that she was not going to pull away. Elaine did not want to pull away, her eyes closed and Elaine let her arms wrap around his neck. As they kissed, Elaine now found herself breathing in Conner, breathing him just like she needed air and Elaine could feel herself giving in. She did not want to put up a fight, Elaine only wanted to give in. When the kiss ended, Elaine opened her eyes and she looked at Conner as he held the sides of her face. Elaine looked down at her feet for a moment and bit her lip. Her cheeks had turned a pink color, it was unlike Elaine to become this way over one kiss. When he kissed her forehead, Elaine smiled. It seemed as though she could not help it. When he held her against him, Elaine did not struggled. In fact she rested herself against him and took in a deep breath. Both seemed unable to say anything at least for the moment.
