Luna stood slowly and moved towards Draco Malfoy with her head held high and her eyes as dreamy looking as ever. She came between Draco and Ginny and took off her glasses. "If you knew who you were up against perhaps you would know why you don't wish to continue this conversation." She turned to Ginny and nodded. "You will not stand alone in this fight. So let the anger drain from your body." She said calmly.
She then turned back to Draco. "I don't know why you bothered to come back this year. Now that you have no one to protect you but Snape your life shouldn't be as easy as it was last year giving the school to death eaters. Your father isn't here if you do not recall. Niether is the master you oblige to." She smiled calmly seeing that Snape was looking intently on the conversation. This was a way that usually made Snape stop looking at her because she knew he couldn't do much, well not as much as he could of the past years. She then stood behind Ginny almost as if they were starting a revolution in the middle of the welcoming feast. She then took out her wand and put it calmly into the air. The tip of it lit. The sign of the Dumbledore Army.

Lindsey nearly groaned.
She had known tht getting to be head girl was a big deal, a very big one. She had been a prefect last year (cause of deluded teachers who she adored for their stupidity in only seeing surface things), but hadn't really expected any more then that to be honest. However, now she started to see the issue. If she was expected to break this up she would be annoyed; Draco being head boy should have known better then to call attention to himself in such a way under the teacher's noses. heck, McGonnagal could take his nose with her wand and drag him back to his seat if he wasn't careful.
She rolled her eyes and covered the fact the knife from beside her plate disappeared under her robes. There were always plans afoot and with everyone's attention distracted she could easily advance one of her own.
Turning to the Bloody Baron who had also taken this chance for an excuse to look away from her she said "So Baron, let me ask you something. Have you ever known the ghosts in the head pub in Bath? One called the Grey Lady and one her lover? Ring any bells in that misty memory of yours?" The Baron turned back to her with a grimace and frowned, shaking his head no. "Damn! I was hoping you knew his name. If I had had that I would have even been willing to leave you alone for a month in exchange. Too bad," she said with a smile to the Baron's growing frown.
She knew she irritated the hell out of him. It was one of those things she enjoyed which had gotten her more information in the past then you would believe. besides, never show fear of the thing you feared since it would only get worse. The baron had grown to expect her to ignore his bloody appearance since she had a hunger for all things ghost like in information. And now that she was head girl to avoid her he would need to spend more time in the dorm while she patrolled, a situation she was sure he did not like at all.
